Adrian Peterson set a number of records and continued his assault on the team and NFL rushing charts Sunday. He set the team record for career rushing touchdowns and became the quickest to reach 6,000 yards, among other feats. Other mentions from Sunday: Toby Gerhart, Antoine Winfield, Everson Griffen, Donovan McNabb and Ryan Longwell.



  • Adrian Peterson set a team record for most career rushing touchdowns, scoring two on Sunday to make it 54 in his career, breaking a tie with Chuck Foreman and Bill Brown at 52.

  • Peterson also set a team record for most games with 20 rushing attempts. He has 32 of those games, surpassing Chuck Foreman (31) and Robert Smith (30).

  • Peterson set a team record for fewest games needed to reach 6,000 rushing yards. He reached that mark in 63 games, besting Smith, who reached that level in 89 games.
