Harvin’s shoulder might still be an issue

A tweet from Percy Harvin Thursday indicated his shoulder is still bothering him and could be the reason he missed Wednesday’s practice.
Minnesota Vikings
coach Leslie Frazier didn’t sound certain why
Percy Harvin
missed Wednesday’s organized team activity after practicing on Tuesday.
Harvin had shoulder surgery on April 24, reportedly to remove bone spurs, and spent time during last week’s OTAs conditioning with
Adrian Peterson
to the side of where the participating players were practicing.
“He did a good job (Tuesday) with his shoulder and we really thought things were going well for him and he wasn’t here today, but he’s done a good job in the time he’s been here. This was his first miss. Hopefully we’ll have him back tomorrow,” Frazier said Wednesday.
But a post on Harvin’s Twitter page indicated the shoulder could be the reason he skipped the voluntary OTA on Wednesday.
“There's no such thing as minor surgery trust me.... From prac tues hope I didn't over due it,” Harvin tweeted.
However, four minutes later, he seemed to back off with another tweet: “No worries I'm good just steady grind.”
If the shoulder was the reason Harvin didn’t attend Wednesday’s practice, that apparently wasn’t communicated to Frazier.
“Nothing that I’m aware of regarding the shoulder. It’s a voluntary camp, so hopefully we’ll have him back tomorrow,” Frazier said after Wednesday’s practice when asked if the shoulder was the reason Harvin missed.
Harvin told the team’s website after Tuesday’s practice that some soreness is lingering.
“It felt great. The arm feels good, just a little bit of soreness, which is expected, but everything is on key right now. I’ll just keep ramping it up. One of these days I’ll be full pad and be full anticipation.”
Harvin led the Vikings in receptions (87), receiving yards (967) and receiving touchdowns (six) last year.
