Notebook: No-shows hurting stadium experience

The NFL is looking for ways to enhance the in-stadium experience, but unsold tickets aren't the only concern. It appears that no-shows are also contributing to a growing problem. Plus, the Vikings aren't alone in the contract standstill with players drafted highly in the first and third rounds, and more notes and views from around the league.

As characterized by an excellent Wall Street Journal piece this week, the NFL has experienced a problem in getting fans out from in front of their television sets - where folks have access to replays, wireless and Red Zone network updates - and into the stadiums.
