A day after learning Michael Bennett will be gone for much or all of 2003, the Vikings will start the regular season without Byron Chamberlain for the first month after being suspended by the NFL.

VU learned Friday morning that, as part of a league drug test, TE Byron Chamberlain has been suspended four games for testing positive to the drug ephedra.

We are also being told that there are some extentuating circumstances involved and will report those in our next update. Stay tuned for both sides of the story.
