With Percy Harvin not even making the trip to Green Bay with his sprained ankle – the third straight game he has missed since the Nov. 4 injury – and the Vikings' other players on the injury report all listed as probable, the pregame inactives were more about what the Packers were issuing.
Perhaps the biggest surprise was that WR Donald Driver, who was questionable with a thumb injury, was inactive.
The Packers had already declared six players out of the game on Friday – including linebacker Clay Matthews, who is dealing with a hamstring injury and didn't practice all week. Joining him on the early inactive list were DB Charles Woodson (collarbone), DE C.J. Wilson (knee), RB Johnny White (concussion), CB Sam Shields (ankle) and TE Andrew Quarless (knee). The Packers also made LB Terrell Manning (shoulder) inactive, as he was doubtful on Friday.
RB DuJuan Harris and WR Jeremy Ross, signed off the practice squad Saturday, are active for the Packers, putting their depth at a premium against Minnesota.
For the Vikings, joining Harvin among the inactives were QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson, WR Percy Harvin, CB Brandon Burton, LB Audie Cole, OL Mark Asper, TE Allen Reisner and DE D'Audre Reed.
