Although he expected to go much earlier in the draft, defensive tackle C.J. Mosley is using his fall…
Mosley In? Three More Not
With the team reporting down to Mankato Friday, the Vikings have yet to sign first-rounders Troy Williamson and Erasmus James and third-round pick Dustin Fox.
VU continues to hear that James is expected to be signed before Saturday's opening day of practice, while their are mixed signals coming out about Williamson. The agents seem to be drawing a line in the sand. As of early Thursday morning, no first-round picks in between No. 1 Alex Smith and No. 23 Fabian Washington had signed and the only other first-rounders inked were the final-five picks of the first round.
As for Mosley, he is expected to sign his contract today and Fox isn't expected to get in a contract holdout.
With all the delays in signing picks, it's expected to have signings kicking in like popcorn as one after another signs their rookie deals. However, to this point, the agents and the money men for the NFL are on the clock...and it keeps ticking.
