Tally Ho! Fox Signs

The Vikings officially signed two more players Thursday, bringing to two the number of rookies unsigned as of this writing.

The Vikings continue to take care of business in trying to get all of their rookies in camp -- signing DB Dustin Fox to a three-year deal.

Fox, who is looking for a roster spot behind Darren Sharper and Corey Chavous, signed a three-year deal worth $1.45 million with $500,000 of that in the form of a signing bonus.

With Fox now signed, as the Vikings make their way down to Mankato today, only Troy Williamson and Erasmus James remain unsigned.

FRIDAY NOTES
* As discussed in yesterday's update, the Vikings officially signed sixth-rounder C.J. Mosley Thursday.
* The Vikings are one of a handful of teams interested in RB Jesse Chatman, released by the Chargers Thursday.
* Former Viking Rich Gannon has been signed to do commentary nationally for CBS and also signed on to do work with ABC affiliate Channel 5 locally. Gannon, who spends much of the year in Minnesota, is married to the daughter of former Viking great Bill Brown.
