After having a chance to review the film, Vikings coach Brad Childress gave his day-after assessment of the Vikings’ win in Washington.

The Vikings came away from FedEx Field in Washington, D.C. with a win and no major injuries to report.

In our first segment of audio from head coach Brad Childress, he discusses the game in general, the return game, using multiple weapons and how Greg Blue played, as the rookie safety was inserted into the starting lineup when safety Dwight Smith was benched for disciplinary reasons.

In the second segment, Childress talks about never being set with the roster, getting his first win, getting the team to regain its composure, the running back situation, operating on a short week of practice and Brad Johnson’s knack for success on third downs.
