The Vikings didn’t have many high points against New England, but a couple of players worked their way into the record fray.

  • Rookie defensive end Jayme Mitchell recorded his first career sacks.

  • Mewelde Moore’s 71-yard punt return for a touchdown ties his career long and ranks tied for eighth longest in team history. It was also the second-longest in team history on a Monday night game and the longest in franchise history against New England.

  • Moore’s 81 yards in punt returns is the best the Vikings have done against New England.

  • Moore tied a team record for most punt returns for touchdowns (2) in a career. David Palmer, who played for the Vikings from 1994 to 2000, also had two.
