The Vikings continued their cap-friendly signings Wednesday by re-signing LB Jason Glenn.

The Vikings team doctors have been busy this week. Less than 24 hours after giving a medical thumbs-up to safety Mike Doss, who missed 10 games in 2006 with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, the team re-signed linebacker Jason Glenn, who suffered a similar injury with the Vikings last year.

Glenn, who spent most of his time in 2006 on special teams, missed the final seven games of the season with a torn ACL of his own. He finished with eight special teams tackles and a fumble recovery.

The Vikings signed him to a one-year contract.

The team continues to proceed cautiously in the free agent market, making a series of mid-level signings. The next potential signing could be at wide receiver -- Aaron Moorhead and Cortez Hankton both visited this week, but as of Thursday morning had not been signed.
