The Colts will be without two key players for their offense when they kick off Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Both tight end Dallas Clark and center Jeff Saturday are inactive.
Also inactive or the Colts are guard Mike Pollack, WR Roy Hall, TE Jacob Tamme, DT Daniel Muir, DE Marcus Howard and DE Curtis Johnson.
The loss of Saturday and Clark are biggest by far. Clark entered the 2008 season with 179 catches for 2,234 yards and 25 touchdowns. Saturday, the starting center, has been a Pro Bowler for the previous three seasons.
The Vikings will have the services of Artis Hicks, who injured his elbow in his first start at left tackle last week while replacing Bryant McKinnie, who is suspended for the first four games of the season. Marcus Johnson, who played the final quarter and a half Monday night against the Packers after Hicks' injury, is also active. Rookie tackle Drew Radovich is not active.
Also inactive for the Vikings are John David Booty (third QB), S Madieu Williams, CB Marcus McCauley, RB Maurice Hicks, LB Erin Henderson, TE Jeff Dugan and DT Letroy Guion.
