Jared Allen is active and expected to start against the Packers.

The biggest news on the Vikings’ inactives for Sunday was the one missing – DE Jared Allen, who will be playing and starting.

Inactive for the Vikings are QB John David Booty (third QB), CB Marcus McCauley, TE Garrett Mills, LBs Erin Henderson and Dontarrious Thomas, T Marcus Johnson, WR Robert Ferguson, DT Letroy Guion.

Inactive for the Packers are Brian Brohm (third QB), CB Pat Lee, RB DeShawn Wynn, LB Brandon Chillar, DE Jason Hunter, LB Danny Lansanah, T Breno Giacomini and G Allen Barbre.
