DT Pat Williams is among the Vikings’ inactive, further depleting a defensive line that will be without DE Ray Edwards too.

The Vikings will be without DT Pat Williams for Sunday’s wild card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Williams (shoulder) is inactive for the third straight game, and Fred Evans will start in his place. The deactivation means two of the Vikings’ starting front four on the defensive line will not be active, as DE Ray Edwards was ruled out on Friday. Brian Robison will start in Edwards’ place, as expected.

Williams came onto the field briefly before the game to test the range of motion in his shoulder with athletic trainer Eric Sugarman.

Other inactives for the Vikings include John David Booty (third QB), TE Garrett Mills, LB Dontarrious Thomas, T Marcus Johnson, WR Darius Reynaud, DE Ray Edwards and DT Letroy Guion.

The Eagles have their own injury problems to contend with on the starting rotation. TE L.J. Smith is inactive and Brent Celek will start in his place. Also inactive is guard Shawn Andrews, and Nick Coles will start in his place.

The Eagles’ other inactives include A.J. Feeley (third QB), RB Lorenzo Booker, LB Joe Mays, DE Bryan Smith, T Chris Patrick and DE Victor Abiamiri.
