The Vikings spent just over $31 million guaranteed to secure Jared Allen in a trade this offseason, which has put him under the microscope with fans and media. After five games, he explained some of the factors in why he has only two sacks and his outlook for the rest of the season. Brad Childress also revealed this week how he became interested in Gus Frerotte.
