2003: Started all 16 games for the fourth consecutive season. Member of O-line that finished tied for third in AFC (sixth NFL) with 25 sacks allowed... Helped Eddie George record his seventh 1,000-yard season (1,031) and Steve McNair lead the league in passing (100.4 rating).
2002: Started every game at RT for the fourth straight season. Helped Titans finish second in NFL with 21 sacks allowed. Also helped team to 1,952 rushing yards, including 1,165 by RB Eddie George.
2001: Started 16 games at RT for Tennessee and helped offense rank eighth overall in NFL. Prevented nine left ends from recording sacks in games.
2000: Began his Titans career by starting all 16 games at RT after joining team as a free agent from St. Louis. Paved way for seven Eddie George rushing TDs to right side of line and 14 total rushing TDs. Contributed to George's 1,509 rushing yards, six 100-yard games and two games with three TDs. Part of a line that allowed 28 sacks, tied for second-best in AFC and third-best in NFL.
1999: Earned Super Bowl ring with St. Louis while starting 16 games at RT and all 3 post-season games. Member of a Rams offense that ranked first in the league in total offense (400.8 yards/game) and seventh in fewest sacks allowed (33). St. Louis' offense produced seven 100-yard rushing games and nine 300-yard passing games.
1998: Started 15 games at left guard for the Rams after being moved from right tackle in training camp.
1997: Played 15 games 7 seven starts at right tackle, earning 12th Man offensive award from coaches.
1996: Began NFL career by playing in 14 games for St. Louis as a multi-purpose offensive lineman, playing both tackle positions and handling long-snapping duties on field goals.
COLLEGE: Two-time All-Southwest Conference selection at Baylor (1992-95) started 41 of 44 collegiate games. Graduated with degree in sociology.
PERSONAL: Named All-Greater Houston for the Eagles of Eisenhower H.S. in Aldine, Tex. Devotes much of his time, money and effort to the Nurses for Newborns Foundation (nursesfornewborns.org) with his wife, Kim, who serves as the charity's regional director. On August 15, 2001, he made one of the largest single charitable financial donations in NFL history, giving over $1 million to fund the program in Nashville. He and his wife have two sons Grant (6) and Evan (4). |
