Biography:
Shaun Hill signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent from Maryland on April 25, 2002. He is a developmental prospect and should continue in his role as the Vikings’ third-string quarterback.

2004: Was the Vikings’ emergency quarterback in all 16 regular-season games and both playoff contests. Did not appear in any games.

2003: Was active for one game while Daunte Culpepper was recovering from an injured back, but did not play as Gus Frerotte’s backup.

2002: Was inactive as the Vikings’ emergency quarterback in all 16 games.

College: Played for Maryland, the alma mater of head coach Mike Tice, where he led the Terps to an Orange Bowl appearance, the ACC title and a No. 10 ranking in 2001. Started his college career at Hutchinson Community College.

High School: Lettered in basketball, baseball and track at Parsons (Kan.) High School.
