Biography:
The Vikings signed Richard Angulo on Nov. 25, 2003 after he was released by St. Louis. He is a big athlete with the body of an offensive lineman and quickness of fullback.

2004: His season ended before it began, as a knee injury during the summer forced him onto injured reserve.

2003: After being claimed by the Vikings off waivers from St. Louis, Angulo was inactive for the remaining five games in the season. Saw action in first six game with St. Louis, blocking a field goal attempt. Was a seventh-round draft pick by St. Louis.

College: As a senior, named Little All-America third-team selection by The NFL Draft Report, earning honorable mention from the Independent Football Alliance. Started nine games, catching 28 passes for 582 yards (20.8 average) and seven touchdowns. Collected five catches for 143 yards and a 60-yard touchdown against Fort Lewis in final college game. As a junior, appeared in eight games, finishing with 24 receptions for 362 yards (15.1 average) and five touchdowns.

Personal: Born Richard Angulo in Albuquerque, N.M. Lettered in football and basketball at Sandia High in Albuquerque. Occupational therapy major.
