| Biography: |
After breaking into the starting lineup full-time for the Giants in 2002, the Vikings convinced the offensive lineman to give them a try when they signed him on March 20, 2003. He won the starting job at right tackle and only an injury put a damper on that.
2004: Suffered a broken right foot in the second game of the season. Placed on injured reserve on Sept. 22. Started 34 straight games in his career.
2003: Started every game, along with David Dixon, Matt Birk, Chris Liwienski and Bryant McKinnie. Helped open holes and protect on the NFL’s top-ranked offense.
2002: Started all 17 games for the Giants.
2001: Played in only seven games, all on special teams.
2000: Made two starts at left guard and played in eight games. Was part of the Giants Super Bowl XXXV team that beat the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game.
1999: Moved into the starting lineup at left guard for the ninth game of the season, starting the rest of the season.
College: Was a captain for Notre Dame in 1998, starting at strongside tackle and graded 86 percent for blocking consistency.
High School: Was an All-America selection as an offensive lineman in high school by numerous national publications and ranked as the top offensive lineman by SuperPrep and second by Bluechip Illustrated. Also lettered two years in basketball.
