Career Notes: Carthon was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted
rookie free agent in 2004 before being released in the final cuts. He was signed
to Dallas' practice squad but the Colts signed him to their roster two weeks
later. After being released in November, he spent the balance of the season on
the practice squad. Signed a 2-year contract with the Colts in 2005. His father, Maurice, was a fullback with
Giants and the Colts ('92) and is currently the offensive coordinator for Cleveland.
At Florida, Carthon played tailback and ran back kickoffs (270-1,353, 11 TDs rushing, 56-511, 1 TD receiving and 22-476-21.6 KOR)
