| Veteran offensive lineman displayed his versatility during his first season with Chicago, splitting seven starts between two positions while also serving as the team's back-up center. Has started 38 of 68 career games played during his five NFL seasons with the Bears and Atlanta Falcons, making starts at each of the interior O-line spots. Totaled 22 regular season starts the last two seasons with Atlanta and Chicago, helping his team to a 16-6 record in those contests. Has played in 32 consecutive regular season games and appeared in all 16 games three times during his career (2001, 2004, 2005), Started career-high 15 contests at LG in 2004 for an Atlanta team that led the NFL with 167.0 rushing yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry. Missed the final two games of 2003 after tearing his ACL. Opened the 2002 season as the starter at right guard but could start just four of six games played due to a broken foot and sprained knee. |
