| Two-time Pro Bowler (1999, 2004) brought proven playmaking ability and experience to Bears young and developing wide receiver corps. Coming off the most productive season of his nine-year Carolina Panthers career in which he led the NFL with 1,405 receiving yards and 16 receiving TD, achieving several franchise milestones while compiling those career-high totals along with 93 receptions. Finished time in Carolina as the all-time franchise leader in receptions (578), receiving yards (7,751), touchdowns (44-tie), scoring among non-kickers (268 points), 1,000-yard receiving seasons (three), 100-yard receiving games (26), 100- yard games in a season (seven), receptions in a season (102), receptions in a game (11), receiving yards in a season (1,405), receiving yards in a game (192), touchdowns in a season (16), touchdowns in a game (three-tie) and games started (113)& First wide receiver in Panthers history to reach career totals of 100 starts, 500 receptions and 7,500 receiving yards& Only player in Carolina history to record multiple 1,000-yard receiving seasons& Led team in receptions in 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2004 while leading squad in receiving yards in 1999, 2000 and 2004& Responsible for three highest single-game receiving totals in team history with 192 yards at NO (9/13/98), 189 vs. WASH (11/16/03) and 179 yards at NO (12/5/04). Only receiver in Panthers history to record more than 10 receptions in a game, producing team record of 11 catches vs. SF (12/18/99) and vs. GB (11/27/00). |
