Career Stats: FoxSports.com Player Page

2005: As with the rest of the Packers, he fell on hard times in 2005. His 90 points were by far the lowest total of his career – the previous low-water mark was 104 and 113 points respectively. He made 20 of 27 field goal attempts, including four of five from 50 yards and beyond. Not only did that represent the most 50+-yard field goals in a single season, but matched his four-year total of field goals from that distance. Had his streak of eight straight years with 100+ points snapped – ending the third-longest streak in team history. Following the season, the Vikings targeted him as priority free agent, while the Packers made little effort to match the money the Vikings were offering.

2004: Had four game-winning kicks, giving him nine for his career. With 120 points (good for second in the NFC among kickers), led the Packers in scoring for an eighth season, taking the record from Don Hutson (seven); became one of three players to reach the century mark in each of his first eight NFL seasons. Jason Elam (13, 1993-2005) and Adam Vinatieri (10, 1996-2005) own the longest streak. Had converted 45 consecutive field goal attempts inside of 40 yards before missing a 31-yard attempt in the second quarter on Dec. 19 vs. Jacksonville. The streak was the longest among active players. Was selected as an alternate to the Pro Bowl. Was named the special teams “NFC Player of the Month” for October and December.

2003: Broke Don Hutson's 58-year-old team scoring record on Dec. 14 at San Diego. Has scored 844 career points, most in the NFL since he entered the league in 1997. Made 23 of 26 FGs in 2003 for a career best 88.5 percent. Extended his consecutive games played streak to 112 (121 including playoffs), the Packers' second-longest active streak, behind Brett Favre's 191. Finished third among NFC kickers in FG percentage (88.5) and total points (120). Has never scored fewer than 104 points in his previous six seasons.

2002: Was voted as the first alternate to the NFC Pro Bowl squad in 2002 after scoring 128 points, three points shy of his career high. In 2002, became just the third player in NFL history to score 100 or more points in each of his first six seasons in the league, joining Jason Elam (1993-98) and Adam Vinatieri (1996-01). Ended the season needing 15 field goals to break Chris Jacke’s club career mark of 173.

2001: Scored a then-career low 104 points, making just 20 of 31 field goal attempts that temporarily put his job in jeopardy.

2000: Scored a career-high 131 points – making good on a league best 33 of 38 field goals and all 32 extra points.

1999: Made 25 of 30 field goals and all 38 extra point attempts on his way to a 113-point season.

1998: Missed only four of his 33 field goal attempts on his way to 128 points.

1997: As an undrafted rookie, he was expected to merely be competition in training camp, but an injury to third-round draft pick Brett Conway opened the door for Longwell, who cemented his job with t
