Biography:
How Acquired: Signed as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2006 draft.

Contract Status: Vikings Contract Chart

Analysis: Played for assistant OL coach Jim Hueber in college. Isn’t a great athlete but is a tough, strong, physical blocker who was pretty effective pulling and trapping with the Badgers. Technically sound with some versatility to play both guard and center. Primarily a backup his first three years in college until starting every game at right guard this past season. Vitals: 18 reps, 5.22-5.35 (40-yd), 29.0 VJ, 8-7 BJ, 4.74 short-shuttle, 8.13 three-cone.

College: Came to Wisconsin as a defensive lineman, but switched to offensive line after his redshirt freshman season. Didn’t play in 2002 and saw action as a backup center in 2003. Served as a backup lineman throughout the line during the 2004 season. Started all 13 games in 2005 at right guard.

Personal: His father served as the Badgers’ offensive line coach. Was a first-team All-State performer at defensive tackle as a senior in Madison, Wis.
