How Acquired: Signed as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2006 NFL draft.

Contract Status: Vikings Contract Chart

Analysis: Needs some technique work and skill development, but has good size, feet and natural athleticism to develop if he matures and responds to NFL coaching. Can lock people out on pass protection when he puts his mind to it. Was a standout basketball player in high school. Started 23 games at left tackle and played in 42 straight games in college. Vitals: 21 reps, 5.04-5.12 (40-yd).

College: A four-year starter who spent his freshman season as a right tackle. Moved to left tackle in 2003 and spent the next three seasons starting there. Missed the game vs. Nevada late in his senior season and ended a streak of starting 41 straight games.

Personal: Was a standout high school basketball player who was named to several all-state teams in California.
