| Biography: |
Needing a place-kicker who could also handle kicking off, the Vikings signed Doug Brien on April 29, 2002. He has played in 113 NFL games with San Francisco, New Orleans and Tampa Bay.
Brien converted 20 of 22 field goals in 1998 with New Orleans, made a career-long 56-yarder and all 31 extra points attempted.
