| The tall quarterback from Penn State is in his second year with the Browns after being picked up as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2000. Thompson has been in NFL Europe (Frankfurt) and had the misfortune of being on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad. The Browns clearly like something about him because he's at training camp a couple of years after we first encountered him. Thompson got into one game in 2000, completing a pass for eight yards. |
