| Signed a five-year contract with the Chargers on March 13, 2006 after spending the previous season with the Carolina Panthers.

Finished with 59 tackles, an interception and a sack. His leadership helped the team's pass defense improve 14 spots in the rankings.
Career
A seventh-round draft pick of the Jaguars in 2001, McCree spent two years in Jacksonville before moving on to spend two years in Houston. He then signed a one-year deal with the Panthers. During his five-year career before joining the Chargers, McCree totaled 293 tackles and 12 interceptions. |
