2006: Played in all 16 games and made two starts – in the season-opener vs. Washington when Dwight Smith was suspended for a game by coach Brad Childress and in place of Smith vs. Green Bay in the ninth game of the season. Finished the year with 12 tackles, including six solo tackles and two tackles for a loss. He also added eight special teams tackles. Had his best game of the season vs. Washington, recording six tackles (four solo). Recorded tackles in five different games on defense.
College: A fifth-year senior who never missed a game in four years of playing for the Bulldogs. Played the Rover position (a hybrid at Georgia that has produced NFL LB/S players Thomas Davis and Sean Jones. In his final two seasons, he recorded 156 tackles, 134 solo tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 11 quarterback pressures, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and eight deflected passes. Blossomed as a senior, earning All-SEC honors and All-American first-team selection by Associated Prees, the American Football Coaches Association and Walter Camp. Graduated with a senior class that posted 44 college wins – the most of any senior class in Georgia history.
College: All-State selection in high school in football and excelled at basketball – being named to the Georgia North-South All-Star Game in 2001. Majored in child and family development at University of Georgia. Single and resides in Atlanta.
