How Acquired: Drafted by the Vikings in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Predraft Analysis: Possessing outstanding size/speed numbers, Robison is an immensely talented athlete and an improving football player. Needs to fully translate his natural abilities onto the field, yet offers a good degree of upside potential. Three-year starter who began his college career at middle linebacker. Senior totals were 37/9/5.5 after a junior campaign of 58/15/7, when he was an All-Conference pick.
Pos: Physically gifted defender who plays with a nonstop motor. Quickly gets off the snap, plays with tremendous pad level and chases hard to get involved in the action. Agile, can bend off the edge and shows skills in pursuit. Relatively effective playing in space. Constantly works his hands to get off blocks.
Neg: Easily slowed at the point and lacks functional football strength. Times faster than he plays.
