| Biography: |
Signed as an undrafted rookie following the 2007 NFL Draft, Daniels will receive heavy competition for a limited number of spots on the offensive line. He is a candidate for the practice squad, where four other undrafted rookies on the offensive line will vie for a roster spot.
Predraft Analysis: An undersized blocker with marginal athleticism, Daniels’ mental skills and competitiveness will give him an opportunity to make a practice squad. Three-year starter awarded varying degrees of All-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Has lined up at both guard positions.
Pos: Hard-working interior blocker with a great work ethic. Strong at the point, moves opponents off the line and shows ability as a position blocker. Stays square and anchors in pass protection. Effectively works his hands throughout the action and displays good punch.
Neg: Lacks adjustment ability in space, and is ineffective blocking in motion. Cannot slide laterally and struggles with his footwork.
