| A prize junior college recruit by former Minnesota Gophers coach Glen Mason, a knee injury virtually wiped out Paris Hamilton's career with the Gophers. He spent 2005 on the Detroit Lions practice squad and went to camp with them again in 2006. Hamilton (6005, 195) ran a 4.37-4.54 forty coming into the league and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump, 9-5 broad jump, 4.08 20-yard shuttle, 11.43 60-yard shuttle and 6.91 3-cone drill time. He has some size, speed and run-after-the-catch ability, all favorable characteristics for the West Coast Offense. The Vikings waived Hamilton on August 21, 2007. |
