How Acquired: Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2004 to become the Vikings long snapper.

2007: Made two special teams tackles and continued to handle all of the team’s long-snapping duties.
2006: Handled all of the long-snapping duties for the Vikings, playing in all 16 games and running his consecutive games played streak to 48 games. He had three special teams tackles.
2005: Played in all 16 games, snapping on punts and field goals, working with a new kicking tandem of punter Chris Kluwe and kicker Paul Edinger.
2004: Played in every game and had one special teams tackle. Joined punter Darren Bennett and kicker Morten Andersen as the new parts in a revamped special teams.
College: Loeffler was Texas' deep snapper for two seasons. He also handled FG/PAT attempts during most of his junior and senior seasons. He was also a first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection. Played some tight end in college, but his forte is deep snapping.
