How Acquired: Was drafted by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
2008: Played in only two games his rookie season and didn’t register a tackle.
College: Started only 14 of 32 games played during his time at FSU before entering the draft after his junior season. Registered 68 tackles in three seasons. Played in eight games on defense and two more on special teams as a freshman. Started the final five games of his sophomore season, garnering 25 tackles, including four for losses, a sack and a forced fumble. Started eight games as a junior, finishing ninth on the team with 31 tackles, including 6.5 for losses, a sack and two forced fumbles.
High School: Lettered four times in football while helping his Bradford (Fla.) High School to the state semifinals in each of his last three seasons. As a senior, named the Gainesville Sun Player of the Year as a senior and all-state first-team, and was named all-area after his junior and senior campaigns. Was the Class 2A Mr. Football runner-up as a senior after registering 131 tackles, 21 for losses, 12 sacks and forced 11 fumbles. Participated in the Cali-Florida Bowl with several members of Florida State's 2005 signing class.
