How Acquired: Signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2006 draft by the Vikings.
Contract Status: Vikings Contract Chart
2008: Suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the preseason that ended his season before it officially started.
2007: Played in 10 games, registering 15 tackles, including one for a loss, nine quarterback hurries and a sack. Had a season-high four tackles in consecutive games against Chicago and Washington in December after getting his first sack of the season earlier in the month. Received more playing time at season’s end because of a thinning defensive line due to injuries.
2006: Made the team as an undrafted rookie free agent, despite being released Sept. 3. Was re-signed to the practice squad, but, after Erasmus James was lost for the season, he was signed to the 53-man roster. He saw action in 13 of the final 14 games of the seasons – missing only the Oct. 22 game at Seattle. Finished the season with 10 tackles (five solo), three sacks and one fumble recovery.
College: Four-year letterman and two-year starter. Started all 11 games at left end for Ole Miss as a senior, finishing the year with 36 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, six pass break-ups, three quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovering. Was named Rebel Quarterback Club Player of the Week three times during the 2005 season. Played in eight games as a junior, starting seven at left defensive end. Had 23 tackles, five tackles for a loss, one sack and one interception. Played in 13 games in both of his first two seasons, earning one start in each. In those two years, he combined for 46 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, four passes defensed, seven quarterback pressures, one interception and one blocked kick.
Personal: Was named first team All-State in Mississippi as a high school senior when he had 120 tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, three sacks and three forced fumbles.
