Biography:
Everett Lindsay is the Vikings’ Mr. Versatile. He is also Mr. Longevity when it comes to service time on the team’s offensive line, despite spending time with Baltimore and Cleveland.

Lindsay has the ability to play every position on the offensive line, as he has made at least one start at every one during his NFL career. He is one of the top options as a backup at tackle and guard and has also played center.

The ability to play up and down the line comes from nine years in the league. He re-joined the Vikings on Aug. 14, 2001, after Cleveland and Minnesota struck a preseason trade.

The Vikings drafted him in the fifth round of the 1993 draft. He has 59 starts in 105 career games.

2002: Started five games, mostly at left tackle during Bryant McKinnie’s holdout, and played in all 16 games.

2001: Started eight games for the Vikings and played in all 16. He started at left tackle and left guard, and also saw time at right guard.

2000: Playing for Cleveland, he started all 16 games at right guard.

1999: Playing for Baltimore, he started eight games at left guard and eight at right tackle.

1998: Started three of 16 games he played for the Vikings, one at left tackle and two at right tackle.

1997: Played in 16 games, starting the final three at center. Also started two playoff games.

1996: Placed on injured reserved after failing to recover from an April knee injury on time for the regular season.

1995: Played in 16 games, mainly at center.

1994: Placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

1993: As a rookie, he started his first 12 games at left tackle but missed the final four games with a shoulder injury. Named All-Rookie by Football News.

College: Started all four years at Mississippi and was named to the school’s All-Century team. Earned numerous other SEC honors, including being awarded the Jacobs Best Blocker Award as the top offensive lineman in the conference.
