The Vikings signed Nick Murphy as a rookie free agent on April 25, 2002. He spent the summer taking part in Minnesota’s camps and was released in training camp. He will make another attempt to win the punting job this summer.
College: Was a three-year starter at Arizona State after transferring from Scottsdale Community College.
