The Vikings have released QB John David Booty from their practice squad to make room for CB DeAndre Wright. That's the second time in two weeks that Booty has been released from the practice squad. Last week, it was so the Vikings could sign OL Clint Oldenburg, who was released after a week of practice to make room for Booty once again.

With CB Antoine Winfield knocked out of Sunday's game, the Vikings likely needed some extra depth at cornerback for the week of practice. It will be interesting to see if Booty is brought back on Saturday once again, when the week of practice is over again.
