Draft notebook: Mayock finds faults in Kalil

USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil is considered easily the top tackle in the draft, but he has physical faults, according to NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock. Plus, Mayock assessed a potential second-round tackle, the small-school prospects and some of the fast risers among defensive tackles.

Matt Kalil is the consensus top tackle in the 2012 NFL Draft and stands a good chance at being drafted second or third overall – most likely third if the St. Louis Rams trade the second overall pick. But, while Kalil is considered the best of the pass-blockers in the draft and could end up with the Minnesota Vikings, who could use that sort of skill, there are perceived weaknesses in his game...
