One of the top overall prospects at the Jimbo Fisher Football Camp was offensive tackle Abdul Bello and it did not take long for him to make his college decision. Bello chose FSU on Tuesday morning.

About the player: Bello is a native of Africa that made the move to the United States last year and immediately hit the grid-iron. He has only played about 28 quarters of football in his life, but is blessed with ideal size, ideal build, and plus athleticism. Scout.com National Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons:

"Bello is enormous. I mean he has great size and great length. Bello gets off the ball very well. He’s athletic, moves his feet and showcases very good lateral movement and agility. Bello also has great hands and a powerful punch at the point of attack. There are times when he can just stun defenders with his giant paws. There's no question that he has all the physical tools. Bello just lacks experience."

Bello worked out at OT during the camp with Rick Trickett, mainly on the right side. Unlike some top prospects, Trickett only had to tell Bello something once and he immediately picked up on it and started to do it. That is a rare quality and speaks to his coachability as well as how fast he can pick things up.

How he Fits: Florida State brought in a big offensive line class a year ago. At offensive tackle, the 'Noles landed JUCOs Chad Mavety and Kareem Are as well as high schoolers Roderick Johnson and Derrick Kelly. Mavety/Are will only be on campus for a year with Bello. He should be competing with Kelly/Johnson for the starting offensive tackle positions as early as 2016. Despite the big class a year ago, OT was still a need and FSU arguably landed the OT with the most upside in the country.

Having Mavety/Are as well as the high schoolers a year in front should allow Bello the time to develop. Bello is one of the most intriguing kids to commit during the Jimbo Fisher era.
